How it works
From a missing form to the start of practice
Different people have different jobs. SidelineWorks helps them work from the participation information relevant to them.
1. School staff track requirements
Suppose Riley is missing a required sports physical. The office can find the missing item, follow up, and record when it is complete. Until then, Riley is out of active participation, including practice and tryouts.
2. The athletic trainer shares instructions
Jordan has no missing school requirements, but the athletic trainer has recorded no running and no jumping. The trainer adds “walk-through drills only” so the coach knows how to plan.
3. The coach checks before practice
The coach can see who is out or restricted and read the relevant instructions. If a drill is unclear, the coach can ask the trainer. A message does not change the instructions; the trainer updates them.
4. Families can take part with SidelineWorks-Complete
Families can register athletes, submit supported forms, and see whether an item is waiting for school review. School staff check the original and confirm the requirement.
These are fictional examples. Completing a school requirement does not remove a trainer’s restriction. Schools can also give PE teachers the participation instructions they need; PE is optional with either plan.
